PowerXL Vortex and Air Fryer Pro units use a strong fan and a reflective chamber lining that crisps slightly faster than average. They cook true-to-dial on temperature but you can usually pull food about 5 % earlier than a generic recipe suggests.

Working with PowerXL

  • Use the included broil tray for anything that should not sit in its own grease.
  • The Air Fryer Pro Plus 10 Qt is oven-style — for those models, treat times as oven-style and add 2 minutes for crisping.
  • The basket non-stick is durable but avoid metal utensils — scratches accelerate the coating's wear.
