Egg rolls reheat at 360 °F (182 °C) for 4 minutes with a flip at the 2-minute mark. The flip lets both sides of the wrapper crisp evenly — the result is closer to fresh than any oven.

Technique

No oil. Place seam-side down for the first half so the wrapper crisps before flipping. The interior fills warm faster than expected because the wrapper is thin.

Serving size: 4–6 egg rolls in a single layer.

How to tell it’s done

Wrapper is golden brown and crackling-crisp; filling steams gently when bitten.

Watch out for

  • Egg rolls with a wet sauce already poured over them will not crisp — the wrapper softens permanently. Reheat sauce on the side.
  • Do not stack. The seam will not crisp if it's touching another roll.
