- 20–25 frozen pizza rolls in a single layer (about 1 serving on a Totino's bag)

Doneness
Wrappers are uniformly golden-brown with crisp seams; a few rolls may have small cheese leaks at the edges (this is normal — pulling at 6 minutes flat keeps these to a minimum).
Technique
Cook straight from frozen, single layer. Shake the basket once at the 3-minute mark — the rolls roll randomly, which crisps them evenly on all sides. The cheese inside reaches molten temperature around minute 5, so the last minute of cook is purely for finishing the wrapper colour.
Oil & seasoning
None — pizza rolls are deep-fried during production and already carry enough surface oil to crisp.
Watch out for
- Cheese is molten-hot when they come out — let cool for 90 seconds before biting. The most common air-fryer-related burn is from biting into a pizza roll too soon.
- Do not exceed 7 minutes. Beyond 7, the wrappers split and the cheese pools to the basket bottom (where it then burns onto the grate). 6 minutes is the goldilocks zone.
- Single layer only — stacked pizza rolls fuse together. If you have more than your basket fits in one layer, cook in two batches.
