Doneness
The cheese is melted and bubbling with a few golden spots and the crust edge is crisp and browned. A pale, floppy crust needs more time directly on the basket.
Oil & seasoning
No spray — brush the crust edge with a little oil for color if you like.
Season with: marinara, mozzarella, olive oil, oregano, basil.
Watch out for
- Start on parchment, then finish on the bare basket so the bottom crisps.
- Keep the pizza small enough to fit flat without curling up the walls.
